As part of MODS, INC. design contracts, MODS, INC. draws plans and alternatives for your approval. You may participate to the extent that you wish to do so. We, together, will draw up as many sketches and plans as it takes to show your specific ideas and desires. We can modify floor plans and elevations until you are satisfied with all aspects of your home. These plans and sketches may be computer drawn or hand drawn depending on which media does a better job of showing what is needed. However, these plans are not working drawings for construction. Working drawings are done solely by Dickinson Homes, Inc. which has licensed architects and engineers capable of providing all drawings required for aquiring building and other required permits. Approval drawings are always done as "instruments of service" and there use is goverened solely by MODS, INC. after production. Clients, of course, receive original copies for their own personal use. Following the approval of these preliminary drawings and sketches, all materials are sent to DHI for preparation of working drawings which is phase II of the design contract and agreement with MODS, INC. There is no additional charge for the working drawings. (see next page)
